First, let me introduce myself. My name is Maggie and I am a professional yoga instructor in Haikou, a city on the Chinese island province of Hainan.

For newcomers to yoga, some may believe it is simply one of the many options you have for exercise these days. And though it is true that yoga is an excellent form of low-impact exercise, it also teaches a number of skills that go far beyond contemporary workout methods.
Where most exercise regimes only focus on improving the body, yoga practitioners believe that improving the body leads to the purification of the mind and soul.
